Contrasts

It’s time, we are ready with the new edition of our contest.

Submission of entries will be possible from #15October to #15December via our website www.lafogliadoro.net where the #call.

The Word #CONTRASTS was inspired by the color contrasts of autumn leaves, by a collective reflection on the many conflicts that define our age, by the contrasts that poets have always experienced in relation to the inner self, life, and the world, and also by the value of “contrast” in its thematic, phonetic, and semantic dimensions.

Poetry is a language that, through words and structures coherent with contemporary needs, can convey to others a feeling that transforms from the individual into the collective, into something shared.

It is also an important space of freedom where younger generations can express the essence of their feelings in harmony with our deepest humanity.

The competition aims to to promote this personal exercise of exploration, even among those who do not practice poetry professionally, in keeping with the spirit and life of its inspirer, Giuseppe Tomassetti.

Thanks to the Municipality of Montefalcone Appennino and to the Pro-Loco 2000 Montefalcone Appennino, promoters of the project together with the newly formed Association #LaFogliadoro .
