The Montefalcone Appennino Medieval Path offers a fascinatingjourney through the village’s landscape and historical memory. In medieval times, it connected the valley to the village’s two gateways, serving as the main route for pilgrims, farmers and wayfarers. Along the path, the remains of the gatehouse and ancient defensive towers are still visible. The route winds through a picturesque wooded environment and partly preserves its original cobblestone pavement, a tangible reminder of its historical function. This well-preserved section allows visitors to literally walk in the footsteps of the past. Descending along path, you come to a fork: taking the right-hand path past a small votive shrine dedicated to Our Lady leads to Contrada Faveto, one of the most characteristic rural areas in the area.
